I'd like to start off by thanking everyone who came to... er, who came to help the owl a few weeks ago.
[Well there are no owl shenanigans this time, it seems, as the voice that speaks from this journal is most definitely speaking something human. Sounds like Maiza Avaro's finally back from being feathery]
[A sigh follows, then the voice continues.] I don't understand how they managed, but I was turned into an owl for a while. It seems that I was able to return to how I originally was. I also would like to apologize to anybody I ended up scratching or pecking while I tried to communicate.

[The fluttering, fussy owl has been replaced by a quieter, calmer and much taller man. Back in his usual suit, glasses, and wearing a relieved expression on his face, Maiza is moving around the flat picking up any feathers he left lying around, then looking around for his flatmates so he can thank them for helping him out during the last couple weeks. He knocks on bedroom doors or approaches anyone sitting around the house, looking quite happy to be human, greeting whoever's there with a]
Since I'm able to do things around the house now, I thought I'd make dinner. 'S there anything in particular you want to eat?

[And it's so much faster to be on feet than to be in flight with wings he doesn't know how to use. The fountain looks tiny when you're not a foot and a half tall, and Maiza spends part of this afternoon sitting on it with a book to read. He was picking up some groceries, and has a couple of bags on the ground next to him, but he's in no hurry to go home.
He brought the book, but he just watches the scenery, mostly, saying hello to anyone who walks past that he makes eye contact with as not to be impolite.]
